OLCR pachymetry - a new non-contact method of corneal thickness measurement

Summary: OLCR pachymeter is a new non-contact instrument for corneal thickness measurement. The interferometric technique is highly precise with reproducibility of 1 ?m. Additionally to this, the device contains a programme that corrects previously measured tonometry readings according to the determined corneal thickness. In the article principles and the technique of examination with the OLCR pachymeter are presented.
