Summary: It is known that intraocular pressure reading by Goldmann applanation tonometry is influenced by the central corneal thickness. Measurements are reduced if the cornea is thicker than 520 or increased if the cornea is thinner according to different correction tables and formulas. Pachymetry is important tool for the screening, diagnosis and management of glaucoma.
