Summary: The article shows the methods of facial and eyelid demodecosis treatment caused by Demodex sp.
The treatment of face demodecosis and chronic eyelid inflammation caused by Demodex is extended. Usually lasts 5–6 months. Applied medicines affect adult saprophytes, therefore time treatment must take several or over a dozen life cycles. Applied therapies are not always successful. One way of treatment is the application of ointment with metronidazole and tea-tree oil. These two medicines are described in the article.
