Glaucoma Associated with Intraocular Tumors in Childhood

Summary: Advanced childhood intraocular tumors can cause glaucoma. The most common glaucoma mechanisms are presented in the retinoblastoma, juvenile xanthogranuloma, medulloepithelioma, rhabdomyosarcoma, leukemic infiltration, primary cysts of ciliary body or iris, melanocytosis and Sturge-Weber syndrome. Despite of significant progress of diagnostic and therapeutic methods there is still no standard management method.
