Oczne objawy kliniczne u dziecka z zespołem Goldenhara – obserwacje własne

Summary: Purpose: the purpose of the article is to present the clinical abnormalities of Goldenhar syndrome in a child who had cataract surgery in the left eye.
Material and methods: examination was performed on 7 months-old boy with Goldenhar syndrome in which we noted malformations in ocular system. The patient underwent cataract surgery in the left eye.
Results: ocular dermolipoma, anterior form of persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous, persistent tunica vasculosa lentis and cataract in left eye were found. Cataract surgery was performed with good results. Systemic abnormalities included mandibular hypoplasia and preauricular skin tags on left side. No vertebral anomalies were noted.
Conclusions: The child with the presence of ocular dermolipoma, pre-auricular tags, mandibular hypoplasia with other systemic and dysmorfic findings requires a multidisciplinary diagnostics.
