Summary: Corneal refractive surgery is one of the most rapidly developing area in ophthalmology over the last twenty five years. The development of technology, new laser types and our growing experience in this field create new opportunities for treatment of complicated refractive errors. Although there are many modern surgical procedures available for patients nowadays, we have to remember that each of them has many advantages as well as disadvantages. The purpose of this article is to give a review of different corneal refractive surgical procedures in patients with refractive errors.
