Material and methods: Subjects were divided into 3 groups: group I- patients with strabismus and nystagmus (10 children) and group II ? patients with strabismus (10 children) and group -III- children with nystagmus (10 patients). Children were treated three times every 12 weeks with injections of botulinum toxin type A into rectus muscles. Results: Repeated injections reduced the strabismus angle and nystagmus.
