Summary: Perimetry is still a key point in neuroophthalmological diagnosis and follow-up. The diagnostic power of the visual field testing is based on the topographic organization of the retinocortical pathway. Lesions of each segment of the pathway produce defects with specific configuration. In clinical practice, manual kinetic perimetry has been replaced by static perimetry. Semi-automated kinetic perimetry has many advantages of standardization and can be used as a Goldmann kinetic perimetry equivalent in examining peripheral visual field in patients with the visual pathway lesions.
Słowa kluczowe: perymetria kinetyczna, droga wzrokowa.
