Summary: Descemet’s membrane detachment is rare, but potentially serious complication of intraocular surgery.
The aim of this paper is to present two cases of significant Descemet’s membrane detachment, after phacoemulsification and after trabeculectomy, which were successfully managed.
We conclude that the individualization of treatment strategy is essential for successful reattachment. Descemetopexy by injection of air to achieve a complete air fill in anterior chamber, after proper repositioning of Descemet’s membrane is an effective method of surgical management of Descemet’s membrane detachment.
Słowa kluczowe: odłączenie błony Descemeta – DMD, fakoemulsyfikacja, trabekulektomia.
